Productive and great place to work
Status: Employed
Wunderman Thompson puts great emphasis on work balance and provides a generous personal time off package to it's employees. The pay is fair, not the top, but far from the bottom of the scale. Benefits are offered at quite reasonable cost to the employee. There is no dress code at the Louisville office and that also makes for a very comfortable working life. People are friendly and busy. Everyone shows up and gets their work done while maintaining a friendly outlook toward their fellow workers.

Productive and Fun place to work with wonderful team players
Status: Previously employed
My experience at Wunderman Thompson was a fantastic one. I wish my assignment went a bit longer but I was hired for Launch and we completed the Launch. The team was outstanding and very easy to work with. Everyone helped each other to be motivated and to complete tasks on time as much as possible. The company also has a great culture which made working comfortable and easy to come in day to day.

New management is inept, green and narrow-minded
Status: Employed
Employees are great; management not so much - end of story. Way too top heavy on senior "leadership" and those in said positions hand off the work (overpaid CDs run rampant...they learned nothing from the Perry Fair days). Focused primarily on what is now and not looking down the road. New leadership would rather shutter divisions and fire people as opposed to fixing problems and making a good thing work. New President is a nepotistic digital marketing person with no real grasp of 360 integrated initiatives.

Don’t work here.
Status: Previously employed
The management is the worst that’s why the company is failing. If you’re not a white male this isn’t the place for you. Don’t work here unless you like being miserable.

Decent people and pay.
Status: Previously employed
Nice place to do your time and work on some decent projects with good clients. Agency life is always stressful, but at least here you’ll likely be going home on time in the evenings. However, I never felt as if there was a path towards career development.
Pros
Nice people. Good clients.
Cons
Unclear career development paths.

Valuable internship experience with a supportive team
Status: Previously employed
As an intern with no prior agency experience, there was definitely a learning curve, but everyone on the Strategy team was very welcoming and approachable. They were all willing to answer questions/concerns, share educational resources, provide advice etc.
Pros
Got to work on multiple projects (both big and small) with major clients
Cons
Sometimes challenging for the team to loop in interns on fast-paced projects

Horrible place to work.
Status: Previously employed
There is no culture. They let mean people roam freely. They have the worst management:They are elitistsThey are snobsEveryone stays with their own legacy agency (no one is being introduced to anybody!). So basically there are cliques, and no coherency since the merger of 3 completely different agencies.
Pros
There work on puzzles.
Cons
Working with A**HOLES.
