Job Description:

The Business Design Strategist is responsible for partnering with Crowe Firm Wide Marketing and Consulting Business Unit Marketing Teams to lead the creation of business development and communications strategies and campaigns that support the defined growth objectives of the Salesforce Delivery Unit. The Business Design Strategist is a SME in design strategy and execution, partnering with data, creative, content, digital and others, to create efficient campaigns and tactics to meet or beat objectives, within budget, resource, and time constraints.

The Business Design Strategist will look for creative ways to execute the company’s vision to bring concepts from initial ideation to reality and whose expertise translates into increased brand awareness and profitability. You will be knowledgeable in your assigned areas, keeping abreast of industry trends, competitors, and global issues.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating directly with the Marketing Strategic Account Lead, MarketForce and CroweX to evaluate and develop our SF DU business design strategy and marketing plan
  • Ownership of planning, directing, and coordinating business development design efforts within our SF DU
  • Establishing goals and objectives in order to reach our customers through appropriate channels (digital and traditional)
  • Coordinating & communication of business strategies with our senior leadership team, sales, financial, public relations, and production departments
  • Creating materials & content for social media, website, SOW, presentations, templates, and other go to market channels
  • Increasing overall Crowe brand awareness and market share in the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Management and oversight of the department's budget in order to help guide and make strategic decisions for the DU
  • Managing the marketing department's staff as the team continues to grow
  • Helping to organize company conferences, trade shows and major events while promoting our brand at industry-related events
  • Keeping informed of marketing strategies and trends & performing market research, as needed

Experience & Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field highly preferred
  • 5+ years marketing experience, (internal) agency background or LLP model preferred, with at least 2 years’ experience as a marketing manager required
  • Extensive knowledge of business design strategies, marketing channels, and branding
  • Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Self-starter, highly organized and detail oriented are critical
  • Proven ability to manage budgets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access), Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM and CMS software.
  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
  • Experience working in the Salesforce ecosystem a huge plus!
