Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is building a world-class marketing organization, and we are looking for a Principal Product Manager MarTech to help us define and build our marketing technology capability to fuel the marketing team’s performance and growth. As a key leader on the Marketing Data and Campaign Product (DCP) team you will partner with a team of experts across the fields of Software Development, Data Science, Analytics and Data Engineering to develop new and innovative solutions to some of the hardest challenges in Marketing. You will help us define the problems we are trying to solve, manage product development, and heavily contribute to our product roadmap strategy of multiple products that span the wide variety of AWS marketing activities.

Position can be located anywhere in the US by an AWS Corporate office. Relocation will be offered to any of these locations.

Key job responsibilities

We refuse to accept constraints, internal or external, and have a strong bias for action. We love data and believe that we can use it to deliver epic experiences for our customers. We work across all areas of AWS marketing including email tooling, insights and reporting, targeting and personalization models, marketing measurement and the operational systems to support each of these areas that power interactions with millions of customers every day. As a multi-functional team of experts, we deliver scaled solutions in use globally across AWS marketing.

A day in the life

You want to make changes that help millions of customers. You don’t want to simply make something 1% better as a part of an enormous team, but rather you want to get your hands dirty with a small team of experts and invent brand new stuff. You are a technical product manager with strong experience in building marketing technology products that help marketers deliver highly relevant and personalized programs and content. You are interested in shaping our customer and technical strategy.

You have great problem solving skills. You love keeping abreast of the latest technology and use it to help you innovate and develop the best. You have strong leadership qualities, great judgment, clear communication skills, and a track record of delivering great products.

As a Principal Product Manager Tech, you want to drive innovation and operational excellence of our product roadmap and seek to build best-in-class email products.

About the team

Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have ten employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally. Amazon’s culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 16 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.

Our team also puts a high value on work-life balance. Striking a healthy balance between your personal and professional life is crucial to your happiness and success here, which is why we aren’t focused on how many hours you spend at work or online. Instead, we’re happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well-balanced life—both in and outside of work.
