This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States.

Calix is looking for a Product Portfolio Manager in is Customer Engagement (Services) organization to be responsible for defining and optimizing the services portfolio through analysis and understanding of targeted markets, market trends, new technology, customer business issues and the competitive environment. This resource would apply broad knowledge of Calix service offerings with in-depth analysis of market position to create and expand the portfolio of services and solution alternatives. Additionally, this resource would be responsible for the creation of process and offer documentation for internal and external use.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Monitor and analyze existing services product mix to identify opportunities outside of new product introductions.

Driving new service offer introductions that support the Calix strategic Customer Engagement strategy.

Offer Life Cycle Management activities from Concept, Development to Delivery.

Deliver effective results in new product additions leading to sales growth, customer acquisition, and increased market share.

Cost and price modeling.

Support process development and documentation.

Understand existing portfolio landscape and dynamics.

Analyze competitors’ product position to understand opportunities for expansion.

Ensure support data held in system is relevant and accurate at all times.

Effectively communicate (verbal, written and listening).

Exhibit strong customer service and is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.

Must have strong teamwork, organizational, & analytical skills.

Knows how to set priorities and can quickly zero in on what is critical.

Must have proficient level of skill in Microsoft word, excel and power point.

Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to build effective relationships.

Can utilize process improvement skills to figure out how to get things done.

Qualifications:

Calix requires all employees based in North America who will work onsite at a Calix office, attend in-person meetings, and/or travel on behalf of Calix to be fully vaccinated. Calix will consider requests for reasonable accommodations as required under applicable law.

BS, or equivalent.

6+ years’ experience in product developed focused on service offerings including support, professional service, and consulting environments.

Familiarity with the Calix product portfolio or similar telecom technologies a plus.

Previous work on multiple large-scale complex projects with diverse network technologies.

Self-managing (autonomous, detail-oriented, organized, creative).

Proven history of excellent follow-through skills.

Top notch analysis, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Strong collaboration, negotiation, and diplomacy skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present and lead discussions from the executive to the developer level.

Remote-based position located in the United States.
