You Are

A Results-driven Contributor who can successfully combine strong Supply Chain/Transportation industry experience (domestic and cross-border) and extensive training in mathematical modeling and data analytics to solve complex problems in Operations. You are a Loyal individual who will help develop the network strategy for Pitney Bowes Global Ecommerce and oversee the subsequent implementation of its key components.

You Will

  • Understand the broader Pitney Bowes company strategy, translate it into requirements for the Global Ecommerce division, and develop short/mid/long-term roadmaps to align with company objectives
  • Create mathematical models (e.g., optimization, simulation, forecasting) to improve package flow and associated cycle time and cost metrics.
  • Assemble data from various sources into formats appropriate for the specific operations and financial analysis and conduct relevant analysis to solve problem related to network design and optimization.
  • Develop as-is and to-be network models that can identify opportunities for efficiency gains.
  • Utilize statistical modeling techniques and database analysis to define and monitor measures that will align performance with business objectives.
  • Assist with the preparation of the Cost of Service forecast for annual operating budget and strategic plans, as well as sensitive analyses to quantify opportunities and risks (what-if scenarios).


As a Senior Network Strategy Manager, you have:

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Industrial Engineering/Operations Research or related field
  • Extensive knowledge of ecommerce industry, with particular emphasis on supply chain and operations, both domestic and cross-border
  • 3-5 years of experience with demonstrated Mathematical Modeling/Optimization/Network Design or related work and experience with Network Optimization and Simulation tools (such as Gurobi, Excel Solver, AnyLogic, ARENA, )
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques and programming (such as R, Python) and strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with database (such as SQL) and business analytics tools (such as Tableau or PowerBI)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills including statistical concepts (such as Six Sigma or Lean principles)


  • Experience with Postal/zone skipping industry a plus
