Department Overview Our Applied Technology organization puts some of Motorola Solutions brightest minds on unique, highly challenging projects. Based on decades of experience with our customers, we apply leadingedge technologies to support security and safety throughout the world. We engineer our products from start to finish and manufacture them inhouse. Were known for low volume and high capability with focused specialization in areas including softwaredefined radios, advanced antenna solutions, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, signals intelligence and more. Job Description

We are actively looking for a Strategy Manager to join our team. This role will support project teams and collaborate with clients to define and deliver innovative, practical solutions that will influence our clients businesses and contribute to our own portfolio of excellent solutions.

Your focus and responsibilities will include the following

Assess the organizations current product performance and portfolio.

Work with Customers to understand their future needs.

Align the technology and capabilities of the organization with the needs of the Customers.

Analyze industry trends, market conditions, and customer needs to identify opportunities for future product lines

Perform competitive analyses to identify weaknesses, trends and product opportunities within existing and new markets

Contribute to the growth of the organization through strategic plan development, and identifying key technological areas.

Assist crossfunctional teams of management, contracts, and engineers in the development of proposals.

Drive the direction of products and help develop product roadmaps and longterm strategic plans.

Direct a portion of the investments made in the development of new products and capabilities. This will include GoToMarket funding, IR&D efforts and various other overhead tasks.

Identify, pursue, and negotiate partnerships and alliances in the strategic development of new business opportunities in existing markets.

Develop and nurture business relationships to promote AT products and capabilities to new government customers.

Help locate productservice opportunities and new product initiatives.

Act as liaison between various businesses within the company.

Collaborate with crossfunctional stakeholders in highlevel, technical discussions to develop product roadmaps, strategic and marketing plans.

Specific Knowledge Skills

Experience in Project Management roles.

Experience with partnering and building industry teaming relationships.

Expertise in competitive assessments, price to win and market penetration strategies

Experience with U.S. Government procurement cycles and proposal process.

1043; years of experience working within the U.S. Government.

Must be able to travel on an occasional basis 3 to 5 days per month.

Must have excellent analytical and critical thinking skills and be able to manage multiple competing priorities in short turnaround situations.

Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and be comfortable interacting with individuals and diverse groups of people in business and social settings.

Must possess strong verbal and written communications and ability to build professional working relationships.


Basic Requirements

Bachelors degree with 1043; years of experience.

Engineering degree preferred.

Active TopSecret clearance required.
